My Professional Background

I am a dedicated practitioner and student of yoga, an accredited psychologist (PhD), and a certified yoga teacher with ongoing training in Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and restorative practices such as Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

My approach to teaching yoga is shaped by my personal practice, my studies of yoga and my academic training as a psychologist.
Practising yoga has sharpened my ability to listen inwardly and to understand how the physical body, breath, mind and emotions are all interconnected.
Studying yoga across different training programs has deepened my understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice. I see yoga as a comprehensive system offering a map to develop and strengthen wisdom through body, heart and mind.
With an academic background in psychology, I am particularly interested in the overlaps between contemporary psychology and ancient wisdom traditions.

In my classes, I draw from both fields, often emphasizing the interconnectedness of body, heart, and mind. I aim to create a supportive space where you can explore and strengthen wisdom through body, heart and mind.
